My Flight Journal

Finally got back into the air today after hurricane season. Just did a quick 1.5 dual of nothing but T&Gs. Flew a new (to me) N model 172. Controls were really loose on the bird and it loved to wag its tail. My instructor took the controls for a few minutes and agreed.

I'm planning the final push for my ticket now. I really only need 2 or 3 more cross- countries (5 hours worth) and that's it. And of course the 3 hours of dual within 60 days of the checkride. Today counted towards that which is why I didn't mind not doing solo. I'm taking a week off of work either next week or the week after. I plan to bang out the rest of my x-c hours and do lots of practice on the standard maneuvers. Then it's just a matter of scheduling the checkride.
